SMALL GROUP. GRAND NONSENSE.

A LITTLE GATHERING. A VERY BIG WHAT IF.

Mission Mixer.

Get your people together. Make something wonderfully unnecessary.

Mix up teams, then invent a tiny world through three connected creative challenges. One person hosts; everyone else just needs paper, a pen, and a little curiosity.

01 / GATHER YOUR GANG

Who’s in?

Try it before a book club, at a community get-together, or around a few tables with friends. This gentle version is written for teens and adults.

We’ll use Guest 1, Guest 2, and so on.

Sizes differ by at most one. For conversation, aim for 2–5 people on each team.

Everyone follows the same three linked missions. Each team makes its own version.

LESS PREP. MORE PLAY.

Fifteen minutes, from “hello” to “we made that.”

2 minutes to settle in

Make teams with Silly Teams, our group mixer. Give each team scrap paper and a pen. Invite people to draw, write, speak, or watch.

11 minutes to invent

Three Tiny Missions grow into one shared world: a mascot becomes a shopkeeper, a moon menu becomes a postcard, or a small invention gets its own holiday.

2 minutes to admire

Each team can share one sentence or hold up a sketch. With six teams, allow about 15 seconds each. Passing is fine. Celebrate the ideas; there’s no winner to pick.

Pause or skip any step. Allow longer if your group needs it. A quiet room, large paper, and reading prompts aloud can help. Check what works for your group before you begin.
